That is slick as can be! Sweet idea man!
I have 2 General Tools circle cutters I use, a heavy duty and economy (the economy cuts a much smaller hole). I have an adapter bushing to use a smaller drill bit in the center (my Dad is a machinist) that is sized to match a round toothpick.
I use a center drill to mark where I want the hole, then use the circle cutter to cut the blank. And since there is only one cutter, it doesn't clog and is easy to keep honed absolutely razor sharp.
