Oh wow, didn't watch the whole video till now. But it looks like his voice in HIS videos is purposefully changed/characterized (when he talks at 4:40)

I think it's the quality of the microphone on the Sixtysymbols camera. Henry's mic looked pretty fancy and it shows in the clearness of his voice in the minutephysics videos.
