51st Anniversary - Jimi Hendrix by Steve Webb & EXP

Unfortunately, this song was rarely played and as a result, we never got a good "LIVE" recording of it. We never got a good recording period, but this is the best one I could find and I matched it up with the video of a "LIVE" version. This audio recording was a little over a month before the video and is the last recording of this song before this video was made, which I messed up. Dennis Paul Shea on Drums and Keith Martin on Bass. And it is "LIVE" in the practice room. Anyway, no weird intentions, just trying to show the variety of Hendrix songs we played.

Thanks. I'll assume you skipped up to the beginning of the song. The audio is from a practice session about a month before the video. Steve says he recorded practice sessions and Live gigs exactly the same way, but the room size and shape changes the sound a little.  The mix is more 'centered' in the practice sessions and they can't be remixed. The real live recordings have extreme stereo Guitar and Bass as well as a stereo Drum mix. Thanks again.
