Rising Appalachia-Atlanta

This is the sister duo, Rising Appalachia, warming up before their show at the 5 Spot in Atlanta, GA . With tattoos and piercings they strike a bold appearance but their music is a soothing blend of traditional roots music and experimental world music. This is some footage we have shot for the segment in the film about what the future of old time music holds. We hope to be filming them again soon...and next time hopefully we will shoot them performing a traditional fiddle tune in a Georgia swamp...awesome.
