We went out and played in the snow - wandering around our beautiful Upper West Side neighborhood yesterday recording our impressions of the storm using a basic shoot-from-the-hip camcorder in DV.

Watch our fellow New Yorkers deal with the fourth heaviest snow in the city's history. AND - - help us landmark these beautiful "Bloomingdale Blocks" - stick through to the end of the credits, copy down the URL posted, and sign the West End Preservation Society Historic District petition.

Hope you enjoy the video!

  • I'm sorry, I usually don't like to leave negative feedback.. But the 50% oppacity overlay of scenes is sooooo frustrating!! Can hardly decide what to watch, and if I do, I can hardly see it.. Just some advice... Its not fancy, it's tacky.... It's a transition.

  • @eastvideolab Thanks for your feedback even though it's negative. I appreciate your having visited. Many people thought the overlays were the best part - so, as so often, it comes down to a matter of personal taste. I'm happy you felt compelled to respond. DON'T FORGET TO SIGN THE LANDMARKING PETITION.

    :-)
