Luigi Alva's voice is absolutely glorious in this excerpt.. it is powerful and filled with
real emotion as he stunningly scales the heights of Donizetti's exquisite melodic
line with style, elegance, and the security of his spectacular technique. Alva's
genuine acting makes his Ernesto completely sympathetic as his poignant
singing is set ablaze by that sparkling timbre no matter the language being
sung. The sideburns are a comedic distraction on his handsome, expres-
sive face. TY!
