Sung by Jerry Nelson.

This didn't need a remake from Zoe and Herry Monster,it was fine as it was.

  • Gee, the way Jerry Nelson's singing this song, sounds like some of his past Sesame Street characters. Such as Farley.

  • Well it's meant to be sung by the kid you see in bed in this cartoon,so Jerry Nelson used his "kid voice" for the singing.

  • oh I remembered this. I really liked this as a kid. It's so comforting.

  • I only saw this once on television, so I didn't think there was any hope of finding it again. Thank goodness I somehow remembered the melody and lyrics, and thank you so much for uploading this.

  • THAT SONG ALMOST MADE ME CRY

  • Every time I heard this song growing up I would cry a little bit, 22 now and it's like going back into time when things all made seance

  • mAN I COULD GO TO SLEEP ON THIS iSH!!!!!!!!(EDITED JST N CA$E ANY KIDZ READING)

  • This was one of my favorite songs as a kid. Thanks for posting.

  • @jmharms21 Yeah, he's obviously using his Robin voice for this song!

  • @BeatlesAmiYumi

Yes, Jerry Nelson did perform Robin the Frog's voice and he also used a similar voice for Gobo Fraggle on the show, "Fraggle Rock".

  • when I was little I wouldn't watch this segment because it would make me cry

i'm 20 and it still makes me cry

  • This song made me cry tears of joy and comfort when I was a little girl. A few years ago I remember telling my brother about this song, but it's only today that I finally decided to sit here and look it. It still stirs up those beautiful feelings. I'm 19 now. It's weird how a song you heard a couple of times as a child can have such an impact on you as an adult. Thanks for posting! Can't wait to share with my younger brother (who didn't believe that this existed xD) and 5yr old cousin. :-)

  • I loved this song when I heard, loved it still the 2nd time and now years after I still love it... such a sweet simple song... I may sound like an old fogey but... they don't make children's entertainment like this anymore... I still think Sesame street was THE best.... ;p
