Keep You Safe - J J Heller

From the moment a child has been placed in our care, parents throughout the generations, have wanted to keep their children safe. When Jesus, God's own Son, entered the world as a babe it became true for his parents as well, his earthly parents and His Heavenly Father.
I find myself now wanting to do the same for my own father as he travels through the valley of the shadow. I am aching to slay the dragons and the monsters of pain and suffering. If this is so for me, imagine how much more so it is for His Heavenly Father watching out for His precious child, my dad. We have a God who will keep us safe.

I realize God is my true father, that he will keep me safe and he loves me more than I could imagine. But I can't help but notice that those were parents holding their kids, a lot of dads. I don't have that. I want a dad who actually cares but I know I have God. But my heart breaks when I see little girls with their dads, because I don't have mine.....-\3

@marabug5595 I'm sorry that you don't have your dad. God is a father to the fatherless.  He is the Daddy you need and one day you will see Him face to face. Still there is pain in the present. Have faith in the unseen. You are a dearly loved child.

this song makes me cry everytime i hear it reminds mei dont have to be scared he is keeping me safe in his arms he is holding me and im not alone in the world an if i ever feel alone God is there right with me and he will always be there with me for every thing he keeps me safe

@marabug5595 My biological father hated me, and my stepdad isnt really around that much, because he and mom are in the middle of a divorce. You dont have to face this alone.
