Emily Dowden Band_Soldiers Joy.mpg

My band, "The Emily Dowden Band" opened for The Steve Kaufman concert at Calqra Thompson Hall at Drury University last November in Springfield, Missouri. The concert was just after the two-day, all-level flat picking guitar workshop by Steve Kaufman at Drury U. Go to: http://guitarpix.home.mchsi.com for more details. Two of my band members, Berry Wynn, and Casey Wilson, and I were asked to join in with Steve for a few songs during the second half of his performance. "Soldier's Joy" and "Angeline the Baker" were randomly selected for two of the songs we did with him. Even though we had not rehearsed the songs with him before we played them, it was a lot of fun, and a cool opportunity. He is an all around nice guy, and obvious incredible flat picker.
