The number of major U.S. weather-related blackouts from 2004-2008 were more than seven times higher than from 1993-1997, said Evan Mills, a staff scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.
"The message on the science is that we know a lot more than we did in 1997 and it's all negative," said Eileen Claussen, president of the Pew Center on Global Climate Change.
"Things are much worse than the models predicted."
Even the gloomiest climate models back in the 1990s didn't forecast results quite this bad so fast. "The latest science is telling us we are in more trouble than we thought," said Janos Pasztor, climate adviser to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
If Obama goes to Copenhagen to sign the latest "man-made global warming" treaty, in lieu of the evidence just released on the Internet, no doubt can be left as to what this man's real objective for our country is.
In a way, I kinda sort of hope he does. Although watching the slow erosion of his support (see polls) has been entertaining, but signing on to this craptastic treaty now would be epically fantastic going into 2010 elections!
"They fudged so much that NOTHING that came out of CRU can have ANY believability. If the word can be gotten out on this and understood it is the end of the global warming myth. To base a re-making of the global economy (i.e., cap-and-trade) on disastrously and hopelessly messed up data like this would be insanity."
