Is there a particular brand of contact solution you recommend to use with this makeup? Did you ever try another type of pancake makeup? Last question, what brand was that red sponge you used? lol sorry for all the questions. I love pancake makeup but I have had some trouble getting it to wear to my liking. Thanks in advance for answering my query.

I really love this product. It lasts the whole day, no need for retouching :D.

When Max Factor is discontinued in the US (which will be pretty soon), it will still be available to US residents and internationally through their website. :) So don't be sad!

@maskedonska it doesn't work for me. i apply it the same way she does but after like 2 hours, it gets cakey. i love how it looks though after just applying it. i have an oily face so i guess that's the reason why this product cakes on me

the only thing I can think of are cake make ups from assorted theatrical companies such as ben nye, mehron, or kryloan. I've never tried them, but I'm pretty sure the idea is the same.
If you don't want to be bothered with other companies, you can try making friends with someone overseas so they can send you some or go on ebay.

I just tried this foundation for the 1st time the other da\y and I gotta say I like it! I have super oily skin and it really does keept the shine down! Too bad that Max Factor is discontuing their products in the US :O(! Stock up! Great video! This Vid really helped me out with the pan cake! It's pretty weird to get used to! I tried the sponge but my MAC 190 worked best for me!

I found that contact solution and the MAC 188 OR a 3/4" Maxines Mop worked the best for me after I made this tutorial. I am sad that they are DC'ing it too=( I guess I'm going to have to try ben nye's cake foundation because eventaually I know I will run out of my stock :/

I add my mixing medium to the pan itself and use a brush to get the consistancy you want. It works really well if you do it right! full coverage and stays on all day, dont use just water your face will get dry use a mixing medium

I never thought of using a mixing medium and a brush lol. I always put it on so its on the dry side.. I choose to only use water or fix+ because I have disgustingly oily skin. So the drying out, I actaually don't mind... I will have to try it with a brush though- Thankyou
