This is my attempt to fake a fisheye camera by posing a scalable 3D model. I wanted to approach this the same way a 2D animator would and have full control over the distortion as opposed to just tweaking a camera's focal length and lens.
cheat with 3D, import a normal run into after effects or something, seperate the character from the background, and use the fish eye thing on there, and bam, cheated.

Great idé! Try ad a control for moving the knee up and down the leg. It's often used when you want some extra effect to characters in still renders.
