@frankho99 i think the drummer Graeme Edge wrote and spoke that introduction. but i'd let a more knowledgeable MB fan corroborate that first.

@bigbiscuit100: You are right--it's Graeme. Justin's guitar solo--as well as his work through the whole song--and John's remarkable bass really make this song one of the most memorable in history! Never get tired of it! None of the Moodies ever got the recognition they deserved for being such excellent musicians.

@GnosticGuru: I couldn't agree with you more about this song and the due recognition that's withheld from these guys. this song's momentum gets me every time. Like you, i never tire of it.

@bigbiscuit100: And I never liked the way they play it in concert. The original version was the absolute best!

Seems the RNR HOF is a lot like the Nobel Peace Prize . They both leave you scratching your head . Political correctness I guess. Early on there was a rhythem & blues(or soul) band that I'd never heard of that got in and in their acceptance ceremony one of the guys had this pissed off look on his face when he stepped up to the mike and said "it's about damn time" I thought "OH REALLY". I wonder what Grand Funk would say.

Yeah I agree the R&R hall of fame picks are awful, but it was due time for the Hollies. I've been watching them NOT get inducted for some time. Lots of progressive bands from 60's/70's are missing.
