@bullballs96 I don't accept your rebuke. I never denied him a place in the scientific debate; this is Youtube, not peer review. I'm saying I find him pretentious, ill-informed and almost completely lacking in content or understanding. If that pisses you off, then be pissed off, but don't try to moralise at me.

I don't know much about this debate. I only have a simple question... If life is a series of random mutations, where are the fossils of all the species that weren't "fit" for survival? There would have to be countless disgustingly mutated forms of life that couldn't hack it....

I do find Berlinski's postmodern languor pretty irritating, I must admit. Saying everything in a drawl and refusing to commit is not the formula for automatic intellectual superiority. Are there questions as yet unanswered? Certainly. Is the evidence beyond reasonable doubt? Undeniably. Berlinski's is an argument from personal incredulity tarted up to look like an intellectual position, and says more about his own lack of imagination than anything else...

this guy is an absolute idiot....i really hope that if he gets ill and needs antibiotics that he ask's for the ones that we have developed without the knowledge of natural selection, i think he may find that his belief in evolution will change then
