  • Be careful with that primer, you can flood the carburetor if you pump it too much.

  • Oh, about the smoke. Mobil makes a synthetic 2 stroke oil for motocross which I run in all my 2cycles. Almost no smoke and according to them better lubricity. Sold by the quart, and much cheaper than brand-specific oils. I think I paid $7/qt last time?

Only problem with this machine is there is no fuel cutoff valve so you have to run it out of fuel before storage or the carb will gum up.

  • I have one of these little guys, and I've got to say that when there is only a little snow - under 6", say, I grab it instead of my much larger and more expensive unit. It's very easy to handle, cleans down to the pavement, runs forever on a tank of gas mix, and is dang near self-propelled when you let the paddles pull it forward.

It is absolutely useless on snow over 10" deep (blocks the discharge), ice (rubber paddles can't cut ice), or slush (clogs the paddles like cotton candy) though.

  • I can smell those fumes from here.

  • the'll get over it
