Watched your video with the ported setup. Just curious which one you preferred overall.

@steffanan I am glad to hear that it worked out for you. My experience has been quite the opposite and I'm not the only one... feel free to google them to find other displeased customers with similar stories. My aim is not to kill a brand, but to fix it. If they could get their act together with customer service, then I think they would be a killer brand to continue using... Their products sound good, but I have lost hope in their service.

Hey buddy, your vids are kinda hard to track down. i was the guy there with the alpine E on friday. ill lett ya what people. its one thing to see these subs on you tube. its a whole nother story to be inside the truck. ive been in it. its insane. im not sure it should even be legal haha.
why would sealing it make it lower? i thought sealed have a tighter and higer response, not a lower one

@Jman9112
well, a sub in a ported box is tuned basically to whatever the box is tuned to. the sub has something called an Fs (a resonant frequency) and thats the note that the sub plays easiest and most efficiently. when you put a sub in a sealed box it does make it tighter sounding, however, there is no way to tune the sub like there is in a ported box. the sub then reflects the tuning of the Fs of the subwoofer. the subwoofer here has a really really low Fs, so when i sealed it, it got lower

I've purchased several items from Elemental Designs and found their products to be OK, but their customer service post-sale is HORRIBLE. If you have a warranty problem, you might as well save yourself the shipping costs because they WILL NOT take care of you. Take my advice... don't just look at the product... look at the service and post-sale customer satisfaction.

by the way i have been meaning to ask you, where do you get the bass bumps and notes that you put in all your songs? is it a vst or vsti that fl studio comes with? if so whats it called? my setup comes with NO bass samples, and it makes it really hard to make anything loud. i wanna know what vst to download
