I read on the tafseer of ibn Kathir, that the first Surah that was revealed AFTER "Al-Alaq" was "Al-Muddaththir" not "Ad-Duha" as the speaker claimed.

And God knows best, Jazahu'llah'u khair anyway for the effort.

The brother said the first sura revealed after surat Alaq. Yassir Qadhi says in his book 'An introduction to the sciences of the quraan' that the first sura revealed after Iqra was surat Mudhathir. Also if we look at the reason behind the revelation of Surat Duha in Tafseer Ibn Katheer we see that the reason is that a women said to the Prophet: I think your devil finally left you.
