OK. So Warhammer ripped off ST, made it better, with an universe that is filled with Space Marines and a million of other cool stuff that Starcraft only can dream of. Then Blizzard came and said WTF We want Spehs Marines too, but we are lazy so we will copy your shit, GW, but change a few stuff just to avoid being sued lol. And then MechWarrior ripped off Warhammer because of the Titans...and nobody gave a fuck.

Gotta love it, this ripped this and that ripped that and this was ripoff from that. Ok warhammer uses dices, so its ripoff backgammon. Oh wait Starship trooper novels was where it all started, or was it? Im pretty sure someone thought of aliens and humans in space before that, so who did he/she rip off?
Share the love, nobody really cares if its a ripoff when its a good game, book, movie or whatnot.

Christ shut up folk. Both 40k and Starcraft drew influence the original Starship Trooper novels, which drew their influence from tons of other sci-fi books.

@bender5836 umm... The Zerg are basically Tryanid. They DID rip of Warhammer 40k to some degree. They only "original" thought on the subject was the Protoss, but even that was spawned from the idea of the Xel'naga, which are a rip off of the Old Ones in Warhammer 40k.

@killr97 Actually the Space Marines are very similar, practically identical even, to the soldiers in the Starship Troopers book. The movie is completely different and I think that's what you're thinking off. I think in the book they were called "marauders" or something.

ok the only way that warhammer is the same as starship troopers are the bugs. tyranids are a combo of limbs from ST and their bodies are similar to ALIENS but all iin all they are pretty original so everyone should stop arguing about it.

i love orks but they never made it very far in a battle they were always shot to pecies by space marines so i raged and made a n small eldar army

i wish it was a little slower and said which units killed which.
