i am going to this doctor! i want 15 kids! i have to beat out the octo mom, go on welfare, collect disabilty, sue my work place for injury that never existed, get tons of plastic surgery and turn my children lives into a circus. because i am a freak like that. oh and write a book about how to devote all yuor love an attention to ur kids becuz nothing else matters. not even a job.

I will say just this, she has proven to be a scammer and a fame hog. She did not want these children. Have you heard her lately? These children would be better adopted out. I am not just saying about the taxpayers having to foot bills. I am not that cold. She even fired a crew that would of made sure that those kids were taken care of. Because she would not of been able to do a reality show. The children are the main thing. They will not get the therapy they so much need. Greed Greed Greed.

3slim: I too have worked closely with DSS & while this is a travesty and morally wrong decision, it was the "mother's" decision to make. If we as a society begin to put limits on procreation it will do nothing but serve to bow-tow to the same bureaucratic BS. The sex police won't think 2x about going after gays, lesbians, transgenders, and yes.. EVEN heterosexual couples. I'd like to see these children in a safer environment but "we" as a whole have no right to control her reproductive choice.

PaisleyPlace, I worked for DCFS for two yrs. I am saying this what octomom did was not an accident. She could not afford the children she already had. We the taxpayers are paying dearly for this scammers greed. What the hell she going to do when the fame gos out the window. People are already getting tired of reality tv. These children will be abused in one way or another.

How will boycotting this woman's return to the workforce help the taxpayers of California, the USA? Wouldn't it be better to support this woman completely if she goes back to work by allowing her to work as long as she is not scamming people? I mean if she gets a tv show like John & Kate + 8... If it means incoming funds to raise those kids then let the income roll. It's that much less not taken out of taxpayers' pockets. Be reasonable. Again, not condoning but won't condemn. Kids aren't guilty.

I'm not condoning what she did by any means of the term; hwr, I've had experience w/foster care & in more cases than not, people get into foster care for the check, NOT the kids. There is a grandmother/mother/daughter team w/ 5 kids each in order to pay for their home, prevent having to work, & buying a brand new car while the kids are practically the hired help.. Not loving children these people want to raise for love. NS needs a budget, limits, & a way to work to support herself & kids.
