Kayla Starr Major & Minors Audition

Update on This Show: During the early part of the summer, I was asked to meet the producers. Out of 40,000 kids they only brought back a handful to pick the final 12. Unfortunately, I didn't make the final 12 but the experience of meeting everyone was the most AMAZING!

My personal opinion - I think it is more advantageous to become "famous" in your own time, rather than thrust into the limelight in shows such as "X Factor" or "America's/Britain's Got Talent" - they can be very traumatic and the "stars" soon disappear. The stars of the 50's/60's did not have these fabricated plastic shows and they became stars in their own right.

I KNOW this will happen to you, when your time is right, it will tap you on the shoulder. Enjoy your life as a singer.

@daroni1000 Its ok though it was a really good time. Just my mom and me went and enjoyed every minute of it. The kids that made it are really good and just being considered for it was good for me there is always next year :)

You really nailed it on "I'm so young." I was 15 when The Students brought this out and never since did I imagine I would ever hear anyone record it again and I just knew nobody would ever try, because how can you top the Students on their signature number? Then 53 years later I clicked on your video and was blown away. Gal, you actually beat The Students on this one. Cut a CD and I'll be your first customer!
