A slightly alternative version of the Orpheus myth. Worth mentioning, perhaps, that this one is written and sung, as the title would suggest, from the perspective of Eurydice, Orpheus' wife. It may therefore help when listening to this if you imagine that I am a beautiful, semi divine, dead, young, Greek woman, rather than a balding Englishman. Actually, if you are genuinely capable of that feat of imagination, I'd recommend doing it for all my videos. It wouldn't be relevant for any of the others, but I think it would probably enhance the experience.
Anyway, while I'm sure you're all familiar with the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, I may as well bung in a quick reminder; Orpheus, who was the greatest poet, singer and musician in the world, went down to the underworld to try and bring back his dead wife, and, by his singing, moved Hades to allow him to take her back to the land of the living as long as he never, on the return trip, turned round to check she was following him. Obviously, he did eventually turn round and was duly parted from his beloved. He then thoroughly failed to cope with the single life, and in due course had his head torn off by a passing band of women in the throes of a religious ecstasy, who were themselves promptly turned into oak trees. I think there's a lesson there for all of us.
Excellent sound from the Uke but we need to get you a mic too so that your voice is slightly richer. Have you got an HD cam now too?

@risenwretch Ta muchly. I haven't a camera of my own, but my brother has lent me one of his less complicated ones so that I can do stuff without needing to wait until we've both got a spare 5 minutes at the same time. Which is excellent, but I am still, as you heard, in the early stages of getting the hang of it all.
