His voice is far from being in its best shape here, but in spite of that he still slays this song.
-
David Bowie chops his own song.

This makes me want to cry, bowie shows emotion and I miss his songs,I miss bowie,I would give anything to see him live,I wish I was born on his date of birth so I could live through his music,I questioned this all the time.

This made my heart soar... I absolutely love the lyrical meaning of this song, and this live version is amazing...

What a beautiful man.

i cannot imagine what is to have got a brother, who suffers from esquizophrenia and wants to commit suicide. And worst, that he at last , did it at the 80' s...JUMP, THE SAY, is also dedicated to Terry , but i think not many people realized about that , in the 90' s.
David shines in this performance, he is transferring all his energy and emotion to the audience.

Concert live at the Tokyo Dome theater, 16 May 1990, for the "Sound & Vision" Tour (featuring Adrian Belew).
I absolutely agree, thanks for watching.

The moment I heard David Bowie, I fell in love with his music. Music in general really. He brings on such a new dimension to it. If only music of today could be like this. Bowie really gets into your soul with every word he says. You know what the words are and you can connect to them. Two words: Pure Genius

Smiling, very close to you, even if I don't know you: certain words are waves that propagate as well as musical notes. The Genius knows how to compose them there where we speak another Language, by distilling the "unspoken" that is immediately recognizable to who rises above. Is from Soul to Soul and we can know better than thousands of speeches. Even these your words are sounds, uttered directly from the dimension in which we are not divided. For that I thank you so much.

i'am speechless and crying.. for a moment it felt like a resurrection of Ziggy Stardust.. but once again it's the Rise and the Rise of David Bowie...With many thanks to all the people who uploaded his ever great live concerts we can now witness that his Tokyo performances seem to have some extra dimension, dont they ?

Well... also I think so, as you say, but it happens to me after having seen each concert. I have often wondered why this deduction so strangely repetitive. Perhaps the reason is that the Master gave his originality, at the best of himself, at every stage; so, the latest performance always seems at the top... (however, this song and this version is really MAGNIFICENT !). Thank you so much for your heartfelt comment. A hug.
