I got into the job of Online Community Manager by chance - after looking/asking around about jobs related to media and individual/community/global development. New communities are popping up online every day, so I think just keeping an eye out on job posting sites is the best advice I can give! Also becoming familiar with as many Online Communities as possible - joining them if you don't mind having profiles all over the place. Often they'll have a job posting section on the site itself
