@ImubercoolBD So, this long, drawn out message concludes with this. Happy and vibrant may not be your style. But don't forget to appreciate it while its there. Don't forget that there are videos are there to inspire, and to motivate, and to simply make people laugh. You may disagree with them. You may disagree with taking any position other than the cynic or skeptic. But perhaps, once and a while, happiness ought to be everyone's style.

@ImubercoolBD What didn't realize was that in paying all my attention to the suffering around me: by focusing on ameliorating all the darkness around me, I was blind to my own suffering. First, there was my abusive relationship...fortunately, I managed to get out (but even that was difficult and left me traumatized).

Once all the dust settled, I finally turned to myself. By that point, I had developed a severe, chronic pain disorder. Perhaps it's fibromyalgia, maybe Parkinson's.

You have time to take out of your busy day to say that there are much more important things to worry about? In the year 2009, about 4,000,000 babies were born, of which 33% were circumcised in a hospital. In this year alone, 117 babies were reported dead from circumcision in a HOSPITAL, with more deaths likely.

If you work out the numbers, that is about 9.01 deaths per 100,000 unnecessary surgeries. The moment someone needlessly dies, the issue warrants our attention. Don't marginalize.

@CodeofVideos It's not a matter of being happy or vibrant necessarily, I just don't want to see you put yourself into a dark place emotionally. Truth be told, I'm actually speaking from experience. I won't go into detail, but over the past couple of years, a shitstorm of all sorts of calamities wrought me, my family...and I was the one who tried to keep a brave face on and never show all the pain I was experiencing. And there was a lot of pain - it's like that's all I could see.

Girls who had their entire vulva removed can still urinate and bear children, so there's no problem with it, right? If parents want to make that permanent decision, so be it. Not like it hurts having one of the most richly innervated parts of the body peeled off with a scalpel with little to no anesthesia.
