This is a two hours live painting by Zimou Tan, special thanks to Enrique Quintero for modeling. The video came out kinda dark, hope you won't mind.

  • nice still life picture...im working on oils and trying to get the concept or maybe just the tones...idk i really am trying to get used to how fast they dry....im really used to acrylics, they dry in like 5min max ....and i can sketch portraits well...idk if its just me or not... skin tone is hard to get down...also water...but i think skin tone is just one of those things

  • @Stevenjdupuis This is a life portrait painting, not a still life, the model Kik-e was sitting in front of the painting easel box. Oil and acrylic color and drying time are different, but you'll have to learn color theories and structures or human face, the most important of all, endless practice!

  • What kind of paint/ink was used? It the texture looks very nice

  • @DoombladeDispenser It was oil paint.

  • Would you mind if I considered you as my teacher ;actually I intend to watch all videos you uploaded as many time as I can.

  • @woothichaiboonsaeng Thank you for the consideration, I don't mind at all, if you think I have inspired you in any way.

  • Щедеврально =) у техники есть название? можете просветить (если поймете меня)?

  • looks like jesus

  • @ChrisTube3333 Thank you for your compliment. Not a single piece of art work in this work can satisfy everyone's desire, mines are one of them. I am glad the other parts of the painting have connected to you.

  • @ChrisTube3333 Thank you for your comment. Each person entitles to have their own opinion, same subject appears differently to each person's eyes, you don't like the high light, to me it was the final touch and attraction for the pose. Each person has their own thoughts, as an artist, we paint how we feel towards our subject at the time, and make the best out of it, there is freedom to express, and freedom to acceptance, it is very difficult to fulfill each person's desire.
