This weeks episode will teach players how to wallbounce and offers a drill that you can do to work on your wallbouncing. In the end, practice makes perfect when it comes to wallbouncing, so the best I can recommend is to go out and play some games while focusing on just bouncing.

As always, subscribe if you haven't and leave feedback below. Got one more video before I switch over to GoW3 action, so any requests for topics would be cool.

  • ive always struggled with this, reason why i did not play multiplayer alot on gow2

got any special tips for us onza users? ive got the A button on the left bumper and dont even remember what i put on the right bumper on the gow3beta

  • @schizox I would suggest you check out my sensitivity settings video and I have a "Gears of War with the Razer Onza" video coming out Monday.

  • @arCtiCvBi will do! though my sensitivity was on the highest on gow3beta.... never did use high on gow2 so that was the problem, even in the beta i would just roll ... will be waiting for the vid in my sub box on Monday thnx !!

  • @schizox High settings typically allow for better movement. @AutoPsychotic suggested using the "Alternate" control scheme to combat rolling when wanting to wall bounce. I personally haven't used Alternate control scheme, I tested the distances (on GoW2) of when the character would roll versus wall bounce on every map for a couple hours.

  • I first learned to wall-bounce effectively 2 years ago. My gameplay got so much better after that. Another thing I'd recommend (in addition to leaving Gore set to off) is the alternate control scheme. It can take up to a week to get used to, but then you'll see it's drastically better to use than the default. For instance, you NEVER roll when you want to slide when using the alternate controls. I've been using those exclusively since early 2009.

  • @AutoPsychotic Skyllus actually tested the alternate control scheme for a short period of time and didn't quite like the feel of it (I can't remember how long he tried to adjust). I have never tried to use the alternate control scheme, but I imagine it would probably take awhile to get used to, considering it took a couple weeks to get used to my Onza button remaps. Those occasional rolls are admittedly annoying, that is for sure.

  • @arCtiCvBi how do i learn to always do it?

  • @arCtiCvBi thing is, i can effectively wallbounce, but in the heat of the moment of a gnasher battle or like a 3v1... i never remember to do it

  • against gears of war 2 bots will it be effective depends on difficulty?

    which difficulty is most balanced?
