The arrogance of fluoridation bureaucrats is very disturbing. Consent is needed to protect patients against bad prescribing and in the USA and Australia, no doctor can make anyone take drugs against their will. . In this interview, health bureaucrat Dr Carnie throws this medical wisdom out the window. While revealing little knowledge about its side-effects, he is still trying to force everyone to ingest fluoridated water regardless of their health status.

Gestapo tactics are alive and well in Australia! Forced Fluoridation is not ethical - it's not moral - it's not democratic. It IS inhumane and just plain wrong to force medicate a whole population, with total disregard to the percentage of people who already ARE, and who most certainly WILL be, adversely affected by this poisoness additive!!! Important Fluoride Conferences in Toronto, Canada, August 7-11-08

With over 30% of children in the United States and Canada now impacted by dental fluorosis, it is clear that millions of children are being over-exposed to fluoride.

In light of the health risks associated with excessive fluoride exposures, scientists and activists are converging in Toronto, Canada for TWO historic conferences.

The first conference (August 7-10), hosted by the International Society for Fluoride Research (ISFR), will examine fluoride's impact on bone and brain health and feature presentations from some of the world's leading scientists on fluoride toxicity.

The second conference (August 10-11), hosted by the Fluoride Action Network, will address what citizens can do to stop water fluoridation in their own communities and regions.

A new position paper from the National Kidney Foundation concludes that individuals with chronic kidney disease should be notified of the potential risk from exposure to fluorides.

The document acknowledges gaping holes in research concerning kidney impacts from fluorides and further undermines the myth that fluoridation has been proven safe for everyone.

The N K F officially withdrew from the American Dental Association's list of organizations which support fluoridation.

1-1-08, Quebec City in Canada terminated its fluoridation program after 36 years joining Montreal and Vancouver.

Isle of Man announced 12-6-08 that it was abandoning fluoridation after a gov survey showed the public opposed the plan.

Other communities recently rejecting fluoridation include Dryden, Ontario; Littleton, Massachusetts; and Yarmouth, Massachusetts.

The City that started it all 63 years ago in 1945, Grand Rapids, Michigan is now questioning the safety of fluoridation.

I am very sorry for Australians having this terrible program, which serves as a long-term assault on their health, forced upon them. Tragic!

@im3gfree Flouride causes sigifcant (negative) changes in the human brain. A "fluoridated" society is more passive, easily manipulated, and quite literally "dumbed-down". People who believe the government has our best intrest in mind, when puting fluoride in our water, are quite naive. Fluoride's adverse effects FAR outweigh any supposed benefits. I can't believe their is not more public outrage on this subject.

Since when is government and dentists smarter than nature . If the creator wanted us to drink fluoride he would have put it in the water when he created it. Its my body and i don't recall giving the government or the dental industry authority to think for me and decide what i should do with my body. This is because the chemicals are scrubbed from the smokestacks of superphosphate fertiliser plants, and (according to some brave EPA scientists who have spoken out) added directly to drinking water without any kind of purification process. @perein03 But it is difficult and very expensive - prohibitively so, for many working families - to install the filtration equipment to remove fluoride. (Common, relatively cheap filters like Brita will not remove fluoride.) Even when filters for drinking water are installed, people must still shower in fluoridated water. Whole house filters to get around this are even more expensive. The concept of forcing people to spend money to avoid medication is ludicrous, unjust, and backward.
