NASA Astronaut Dr. David Wolf visited The Childrens Museum of Indianapolis on August 25, 2009, in his first official public appearance since returning from the most recent NASA mission. Museum visitors lined up to meet Dr. Wolf as he signed autographs. A sold out crowd, including nearly 250 school children, attended Dr. Wolfs presentation in the Lilly Theater about his recent trip to the International Space Station for the mission STS-127, which delivered the final piece of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo laboratory. The 16-day journey of more than 6.5 million miles ended with his return to Earth on July 31 at NASAs Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
