god damn...land rover and all of its tricky starting procedures...my friend owns a 97 land rover, which i assumed would just be a turn-key start, but oh noooo that would make things too easy >_< i had to have them start it. i was soo embarrassed lol

@tech4156 Yes, it slides into a slot, not sure if they've changed this at all on the most current model.

@roverhaul wots the point? in a merc u can have key in ur pocket and just press start button, in this case you may aswell have an ordinary key and turn it.

Lot's of vehicles have it, this was just for those interested in the Land Rover implementation. And it's not my car, just a loaner from the dealer.
