On July 21st 1991, the oil tanker Kirki lost its' bow off the coast of Australia, dumping 20,000 tons of crude oil into the sea which then caught fire. Senator Collins, a member of the Australian Parliament, appeared on a TV news program to reassure the Australian public.

John Morrison Clarke and Bryan Dawe in a exquisite parody of politicians, perform a simulated news interview which is hilarious!!!! Bryan John Dawe plays the news anchor and John Morrison Clarke plays the politician. Bryan has been a regular collaborator of fellow satirist John Clarke in the form of mock interviews, first for A Current Affair, and then for The 7.30 Report in Australia.

And did I mention, the front fell off......
