in order to understand why she sings in mongolian, you have first understand what is Buryatia. This territory was conquered by Russians some 4 cent. ago, before there lived just tataro-mongols, that is way the culture of these people doesn't differ much from the culture of Mongolans.

Badma Khunda - was born in Ulan-Ude then her family moved to Mongolia, than she went back to Buryatia.
