also, HOW would they know if u traveled more then 60 years then it would cause a greater divergence, COULD someone have gone back more then 100 years and drastically changed our future, at some point in our past? HOW would we know? even if he traveled to the dinosaurs for 1 sec, it would cause a butterfly effect. very interesting, i could probably see myself having fun with this, sadly at the expense of the world or universe. and i couldnt stop myself from getting a time machine anyway lol Tline

Well what would it matter if he DID go to1975 and did something he regreated? What good would it do him to travel to 2000 and change it, whatever he did back in 1975 was in a different universe and it would have no effect on the universe in 2000? ISnt' that the way he described it?
