At first I thought it was too slow, but as the song went on it really made sense. Very cathartic, beautiful job brother.

he is covering the demo version of the song,,, that is th eoriginal version... not the in the reins version.. might wanna be informed before you dismiss his words "wink"

Pretty good version, man, though I think straying from the original lyrics was a bit jarring for fans of the song. It's hard to improve on Iron & Wine lyrics. "She rose and winked like the owner of a candy store."??? Huh??? Far less poetic (and somehow far more creepy / funny) than the original's "One grin and wink like the neon of a liquor store." You might want to find a site that offers more accurate lyrics before you record the cover. Keep it up, though, man. I like your voice.
