It's unbelievable that Jim Cornette can cut a better promo on the fly then most of the top guys in WWE and TNA.

You know the funny thing? When ROH DOES use storylines or gimmicks(CM Punk's heel character during his time as ROH World Champion, Jimmy Rave, Delirious, Colt Cabana), they actually draw more reception from the fans than the ones used in WWE or TNA.

Imagine that, Ring Of Honor, a company with the best pro wrestling in the US, is also the best at SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT.

And despite their gimmicks, Delirious and Cabana still get to wrestle well in the ring.

Fuck WWE and TNA. Ring of Honor is best

I bought the DVD based on this trailer but his card for WrestleMania was a pure letdown. Great shoot though.

If Angle gets creamed at the up coming Olympic trials do TNA cease pushing him or using him so far up the card? Probably not. Why though? IF being a great shooter is so important?

The simple reason is that the majority of fans accept that its a work and if you entertain them, in this format, they accept whatever the company tries to tell you. "hes a machine" "hes a gold medalist" so on and so forth. Wrestling fans dont care.

oldschool6804 Does Kurt Angle win the majority of his matches and have 10+ World Championships to his name because he was/is a great shoot fighter? No.

None of them do. In wrestling it only matter if you can make it LOOK like you are legit. Thats the work. Is it a tough inustry? Fuck yes. Do these guys work harder than most legitimate sport stars? Again, fuck yes.

All of the above is a given but it doesnt change the fact that "who is the better shooter" is a redundant argument.

The physical toll isnt something I would deny.

Too many smart fans (supposedly) seem to get into arguements over wrestlers that are completely redundant given the fact that its NOT an athletic contest.

In other words, the is he a good wrestler argument. How would you know either way.....NO-ONE WRESTLES FFS ITS A WORK.

@TheAgeofOrtonLEGACY Perfect case of "What the hell were they thinking?!?" A total waste of DDP's ability, from which he never really recovered from. None of the other WCW stars were around for the storyline. Flair didn't show up until the night after the Invasion angle ended. Goldberg didn't come around.
