2007 Toyota Yaris S Sedan doing 400,000 Miles in 3 Years 6 Months without any major mechanical problems.

Regular Maintenance:
1. Denso Iridium Spark Plugs ever 50k miles
2. OEM Drive Belt every 50k miles
3. OEM Oil Filter ever 5k miles
4. Any Synthetic Oil or Regular Oil with an Oil Stabilizer every 5k miles
5. Battery every year

Parts that are still working properly:
1. All Sensors (Oxygen, Crank, Cam, Knock, Coolant Temp, Oil Press)
2. Starter
3. A/C Compressor
4. Electric Power Steering
5. Fuel Pump & Injectors
6. Ignition Coils
7. Radiator
8. Brake Booster, Master & Slave Cylinder
9. Throttle Body
10. Engine
11. Manual Transmission

Here's a list of repairs that I've done on my Yaris so far:
1. Struts & Shocks @ 153,000 miles on 9/7/08
2. Alternator @ 323,000 miles on 4/15/09
3. F&R Brakes @ 400,000 miles on 2/21/10 (First brake job)
4. Driver's Side Rear Hub Assembly @ 435,000 miles on 2/19/11
5. Clutch @ 448,000 miles on 9/3/11 (First clutch job)
6. Sway Bar End Links @ 451,000 miles on 11/2/11
7. Passenger's Side Rear Hub Assembly @ 457,000 miles on 1/13/12

  • i have a 2002 Echo with 842,000km on it...original engine and its the same one as your Yaris.

  • @mjuhanil That's good! Keep it up. Continue to maintain it frequently. And remember, oil is to an engine, what blood is to our bodies.

  • we just bought a 2009 yaris. hope i get the miles out it like you did.

  • @MrRichierich1990 You could, if you maintain it regularly and don't neglect it. Change oil and other fluid regularly. As soon as you detect it problem, take care of it ASAP because one problem could lead to other problems.
