I hate all the critiquing of his voice. Can't you just appreciate it for what it is? He's not a singer. But he felt like singing. He's a drummer! Can't he sing if he wants too? The people who love it (in the crowd and on youtube) like him and it's just cool to see him singing a song he's passionate about when he doesn't normally sing.

He may not be pitch perfect but there's something endearing about his voice. It not a song that requires a perfect vocal..His performance does the original justice.A great cover!

A lot of people here are saying that Brian's voice isn't up to the task of this song, or that his version isn't as good as the original. Are you all implying that Jeff Mangum had a great voice or something? Because part of what made the original so great was the imperfection of the vocals. I'm saying imperfection... the quality of the original vocals technically sucked. What made Jeff's singing great was that it was all heart. Brian's voice is all heart too. I think this is a great cover.

Good voice, actually stronger than Amanda's. But he needs LOTS of work with his voice before going singing like that. Now it's rather ....pitiful sometimes.
