nullDC 1.0.0 beta 1.6
(the newest version didnt work well with graphics, so i use this old version) :-( :-)

Emulatorsettings:
ive activated "underclock fpu" and screenresoluion 800x600 / fullscreen...

Game: Soul Calibur DREAMCAST

this was one of the dreamcastgames that works best... almost full speed...
when "hybridengine" is configured for "powersaving mode" (1200mhz) no dreamcast game gets playable framerates. Dead or alive 2 also works but its also too slow to be enjoyed fully...

other emulators that ive tried that so far works perfect:
Nintendo 64
SNES
Playstation 1 (PSX)


remember how the hybridengine works:
"Powersaving Mode" (1200mhz)
"High Performance Mode" (1600mhz)
"Super Performance Mode" (1680mhz)

ive configured to super perfomance mode.

Wow, even my old computer with an Nvidia Geforce 6200 and Pentium 4 overclocked to 2.8 Ghz could barely handle DC games...

the thing is while a netbook isn't a powerhouse, you should be pretty happy if it can emulate the dreamcast.

exactly how i think... im very satisfied if i will ever get full speed dreamcast on this little machine...

but of course i wouldnt mind playing playstation 2 as well, when netbooks gets more powerful. then ill finally be able to play FF X :-)

also, on average, the system emulating the console must be 2-4 times more powerful. I think that you'd be pretty suprised how powerfula netbook is next to last generation consoles.
