  • NO!

  • bring them back!!!!

  • A great place to visit, great day out ,

  • they are all stolen

  • Man, thank God Im not a lawyer and Im not planning to be and obviously you are not a lawyer either.

Here we talk whether it is just for the Brits to return them or unjust for the Greeks to ask for them.

Your only valid argument is whether todays law could ask for their return.

But, this way, you sound like a criminal that his only fear is the law.

It looks like the only driving force for acting this way or the other is fear of the law.

  • Yes, and the ones we kindly left have been completely destroyed. Hypocracy.

  • Who said that time of possession wins ownership on stolen goods. You guys must have some strange laws in Britain.

Well if your culture instructs you to communicate in a discussion of this sort with ha, ha, ha, then I am sorry but it seems there is no reason to continue this.

Without knowing it you gave me the answer I wanted. Your answer was ha,ha,ha, right?

  • No my tiger friend,

THIS IS A PURE CASE OF BUYING STOLEN GOODS.

The Ottoman Muslims were illegal occupiers not legal owners of Greece.

Tell me, the thief who stole your car, 10 years from now will become its legal owner and therefore I could buy it from him?

    Does time legalize unjust actions?

    Give me your facts, please!!!

  • I am very sorry for you... (I don't want to insult you )... take our history and claim that you are the owners (British museum) because turks had occupied greece. We do claim nothing it is yours... we claim something that is part of us part of our blood.

  • Whats not to understand? Theres not much more i can say. the marbles will remain in Britain and the British museum has the right to hold onto the marbles. If they are eventually returned to Greece then good for you and Greece. It isn't up to you to decide it's upto the rightful owners (British museum) to decide.
