  • i was looking at them on your corner store and they are not going to be in until december 31, 2010

  • try ebay, you can find them at a reasonable price.

  • Sweet! I just got one too. Nice review. Nope, I got the CQC-8, the "normal" sized one. Same, but a little larger...

  • I'm actually getting mine converted to Ti framelock right now...

  • How did the conversion go? Who did you get to do ther work, or did you do it yourself?

  • STR from bladeforums, its still a couple of weeks from completition.

  • so whats the diffrence in the horseman and the cqc 8?

  • All Emersons have 3 pocket clip screws. With regards to the swedge - earlier models (early 00s and late 90s) have the swedge. It was just reintroduced around 2009 and all models should have them now. Yes the locking liner is Ti.

Great video! I love the Horseman and can't wait to buy one! Your review was spot on. Can't wait to watch Parts 2 and 3.

If you've actually turned down a rare knife you've been looking for just because it was a combo edge then you must be a very ignorant person

I have no problems or complaints with combo edges. All serrations have a chore to do.

  • My commander has the 3 screws and lacks a swedge. 2007

  • Also agree abour Torx. Ideally I prefer Hex because they look better but, like standard screws, don't strip easily.

  • Totally agree about combo edges lol. So many times I've found a knife I've been looking for, a rare one, at a great price, and turned it down because it wasn't plain edge. Same thing with black coated blades lol, though I see you don't have THAT problem!
