@kravarnik I don't blame you at all for being confused. Thank you for that imformation though.

@MinteyFruit138 I am very sorry then. I totally misunderstood you.
As for a translation, well it's kinda hard to get you one, since many many bulgarian folk songs are sung in old bulgarian. It makes it quite hard to understand what they are singing, even for a bulgarian. But I suspsect, like most bulgarian songs, it's a sad one - about the ottoman oppression, since we were under ottoman's yoke for 5 centuries. Ottomans had a very anti-christian politics so it wasn't easy.

@kravarnik Oh no, I understand how that could be confusing. There is nothing wrong with Bulgarian; in fact, it makes this score very beautiful. I meant that even though I couldn't understand the lyrics directly, I can still get the sense of the song. But a translation would be helpful if anyone knows. Because this is Bulgarian, it gives it a quality that I just can't quite describe, but it's a very good quality at that.

@MinteyFruit138 What does 'this, apparently, is bulgarian, but I like it very much anyway' mean? Is there something wrong with bulgarian music in general, so that you assume that it's bad just by default? Meh, anyway, the voices used, and some of the instruments, are bulgarian. The rest is all Thomas Bergersen.
However, don't get it in the wrong way, but the way you posted your comment is quite a bit provocative. No bad feelings.

One of the great things about classical music, if I may call this song that, is that it can communicate with people of all languages. This, apparently, is Bulgarian, but I like it very much anyway. Still, is there any translation someone could give?

You cannot ignore the voices of Starvation of the people any longer you cowards! I shall so you the True meaning of Fear for their sakes! Come At me you hounds of War, For I shall sake the people's cries of anguish and terror with rivers of your blighted blood! Come and Meet Your End You Curs!

It's like Thomas Bergersen heard the Ar Tonelico soundtrack and said, "I can do this better."
This song is about a people who starve for Freedom and Justice, who live under a tyrant who knows no mercy.
At the two minute mark. a hero appears and leads them to that which they crave.
A land free from tyranny and oppression, let the starving minds of the world know this battlecry.

Somehow ... Someday .... This will play over the radio.
And when it does the sheer magnitude of it's power would either shatter people's hold from the oppression of current music or outright dumbfound them. Seriously if I heard this on the radio I would stop and finally smile, for the world now knows that this kind of music is out there ... and they would crave for more.
