The NI Data Acquisition Control System (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/208114) is the complete solution for your control application. Hardware form factors include USB and PCIe where the PCIe option allows you to add a Real-Time Industrial Controller for deterministic timing. Multiple digital channels, analog channels and counter/timers allow for closed-loop feedback. Please see http://ni.com/daq/systems for more information on National Instruments DAQ Systems.

  • I need the sensor qu are using

  • @TrickyNekro nah pcs aren't bad at handling realtime jobs, but they could be better for sure. you won't beat an fpga with a pc,that's true^^

  • @nazh09 30 days evaluation version is. Full full version you have to pay.

  • responsiveness.

  • Do we need 6211 or any thing cheaper (i saw in NI's website, 6009 , for $150) works ?

  • Where can we get halifax sensor ? What type is that ?

  • Is the Labview software available to download?

  • @NafElectronics Wow, thanks a alot. Are they faster than the cheapest NI DAQ for simple PID?

  • @valordk There is now a much cheaper solution for DAQ: LabVIEW Interface for Arduino (LIFA) Toolkit. Atmega is not as accurate or fast but for a hobbyist it's all you need.

  • @adi1133

Dude, you comment is over ambiguous.... She is probably running many programs on the PC so that it lags...

And really PCs are very very bad on real time jobs..........
