Moron, UofL beat Wake Forest (who beat FSU that year) in the Orange Bowl.

I remember watching that at AJs and being completely blown away. It was a typical game for FSU: Underestimate opponents, get cocky, loose, and in this case loose big.

Always found it kind of ironic that while this ranks as possibly Louisville's greatest football win ever, it was by what was probably their weakest team between 1998 and 2006. This 02 team only went 7-6, lost three home games and were bludgeoned in their bowl game.
Hope they get their program turned back around soon.

Louisville was relatively tough through the early to mid 2000's, and this is coming from a Hurricane fan who's had one too many run in's with the Cardinals.
