Time Magazine has named the Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve person of the year. Ben Bernanke was praised for helping make 2009 a year of weak recovery rather than of catastrophic depression. Meanwhile, more than fifteen million Americans are out of work - double the number at the start of the recession.
