This is the English version of the CVR's Final Report on "Shining Path". Part 1 of 2.

Since there weren't many videos like this available in English, I decided to translate it.

This is the result of a careless goverment and radical communists, in a land of ignorance, poverty and corruption.

the ex president alberto fujimori defeated the terrorism in Peru, now he is in jail to top it all no evidences were found against him ... what a unfair country is PERU. the current politicians prosecuted him under a corrupt justice power but behind this the real target was to get of rid of one of the best peru's presidents ever because he represents a threat for traditional politicians in upcoming peruvian elections ... what ungrateful we are.

This was not solely a BLACK and WHITE event of good versus bad. Everyone one both the government as far as Fujimori and Military and the Sendero Luminoso did a few things that, yes, they should be held accountable for. So should those who figured that it was not their place to help out those who had no voice in such violent events which took place in these rural, poor, and mostly indigenous communities that were affected by this event. The world is interesting hm

Did you actually watch the trial of el Chino? It was televised for over a week, and if you would actually WATCH it, you'd see there was overwhelming of evidence that Fujimori had people kidnapped and killed. It was a fair trial, watched over by many neutral human rights groups, & if anything he got a lenient sentence. Please, represent the truth -- no more cover ups without investigation -- this is in the spirit of the CVR. Ama hina kaychu - verdadta munachkaniku.
