Gameplay from Superman playing on an Atari 2600 VCS retro games console. Retro gaming.
This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability.
It's simply a quick demonstration of the game so that anyone not familiar with these old games can see what it looks like.
Any opinions or comments I make regarding these games should largely be taken with a pinch of salt.
They are usually based on my first impressions after a very brief play.
I loved Adventure and SO wanted a sequel or another similar game. Superman was quite cool but didnt set me on fire. I remember when Haunted House came out being very excited, but again nothing provided the sensational impact of Adventure!

i remember this game bringing me a lot of sorrow as a kid. I so wanted it to be fun because I really liked superman! buy yeah .. it just really wasn't. the layout and graphics remind me of the crap-tacular-ness of ET 2600. it wasn't as bad as ET though.

If you can be bothered you have to collect all 3 pieces to the bridge, dump them in the river and it rebuilds itself in a blink (obviously not council work contractors). The fat dude with his own personal giro copter is supposed to be lex luthor. There was a way to complete the game without blowing the bridge or capturing the crooks. I think you held the reset button down and nudged your character into a certain position. Using subway to get to Daily Planet building
