  • Nothing like an experienced old critter to simplify the darndest things.

  • Wow! Gonna try it.

  • Awesome find!! I glad I found this!! WOOT! I cant wait to try it!!

  • I never thought of microwaving corn with the husk still on to get rid of corn silk. Excellent way to prepare corn! Thank you for posting this!

  • @Huskerguy2010 The respnse about microwave corn was intended for you about cooking your microwave corn. If you havwe a newer or high powered microwave and your corn comes out dry and not flavorful you are simply overcooking it. Try a very short cooking time and get tasty corn on the cob. .

  • Great idea! I'm going to remember this one. Thanks Ken.

  • very cool!

  • @Huskerguy2010 You cooked it too long. How how powered is your microwave? reduce the cooking time for high powered ones.

  • wow, I need to try that

  • I have tried and and absolutely LOVE IT! After I shuck mine, I do boil it in water for a few minutes to finish cooking it to a tender state.
