  • Yes, EC is not really needed here, but it was a nice gesture that he offered to sit in, mainly to pay his respects to Brian. This tour and especially this special concert was a celebration of Brian's music as he made a return to live performing with in 2002. with this wonderful band. Lots of English royalty- real and 'rock' attended this concert - to honor Brian. EC plays tastefully laid back stuff, as he knows it's not about him at all. Just enjoy the song and fantastic performance.

  • this is epic....2 rock and roll legends...it doesn't get any better than this

  • 2 musical geniuses! Beautiful.

  • I love this song. Clapton adds something to the song whereas most others would just ruin it.

  • beautiful music

  • Queen's kick drum?

  • BRIAN SHOULD GET RID OF THAT FAT PIG MELINDA WHO IS BLEEDING HIM OF HIS MONEY, LETS NOT FORGET HE MET HER THROUGH LANDY.

  • Love the original, but this version is a little more "updated" 40+years later for a new generation. Teens thru 20s need to appreciate Brian and Eric's talent.

  • Thanks for the upload, I've been wanting to see this again ever since it was first aired, the night of the show. I think it knocked me out partly because it was so unexpected. My absolute favourite Beach Boys number. And Eric's too by the looks of things.

  • I've been a fan of Brian Wilson for almost 50 years. Clapton, slightly less, but only because he came on the scene a bit later. Both are true geniuses at what they do. Having said that, however, although Clapton's work here is his usual genius, he never sounded more superfluous than he does here. Sorry to disagree with others here, but his solo at the end is the only thing he adds to the song (which is just fine without it). Kind of like if Brian joined in on Layla, if you know what I mean...
