@largolegato He is a legend-composer of the century and you want him play pieces of another composer.? Such talents shouldn't do that if not having the freedom of improvisation.:)

I'd be very interested to see him perform Liszt, Beethoven, Chopin and Shostakovich.

Hearing what a magnificent performance this man gives of his own music, I would be interested to hear him perform some other music. I imagine he would do a terrific job at playing Debussy and Ravel maybe even Prokofiev or Bartók.
Anyway, this man really is a great composer and a great pianist.

Absolutely wonderful! It's so nice to see and hear someone playing without BANGING on the piano! Love his gentle touch and emotional expression.



Kapustin is a great composer, and also a terrific piano player... He is certainly the coolest old man I've ever seen
