I get the feeling that he knows what he's talking about, he just doesn't know how to explain it very well. He's teaching basic things (like shifting) while using terms that most people who don't know how to shift would know. What's a chain ring? There's a small one and a big one? What's a derailer cage? If I don't know how to shift, how on earth would I know these things?
