  • To Red Rock Films - Actually the only use of directional drilling that is ever used is to go under driveways or roads. It is simply a cost/benefit calculation. It is always MUCH cheaper and quicker to trench with a back hoe or rock trencher that was used on the traffic light installation at Airport road. The "I'll kill your stupid trees" comment is a shame as the established trees and character of the roadway is what makes it different from a business district strip mall environment.

  • @RedrockFilms I'll kill your stupid trees to put the lights in, there is no need to dig a trench, directional drills will put the cables underground without trenches.
